Annapurna region have many well designed trekking destinations. Annapurna Nar Phu Valley is included in them. In 1950 AD till man was the first guy to visit this place. This trekking route is made official trekking route in 2003 AD by Nepal Government. It is catching its strength till now. There is the combination of Annapurna circuit. Main attractions of this trek are ancient village having unique tradition & culture with the panoramic view of Golden dawn snow capped mountains ranges. It will be full of joy on walking rough zigzag route cuts the cliff.
High land trekking to Nar Phu valley starts from Besisahar. At the beginning there may be problem walking on narrow humpty dumpty trial. After few days we will be habitual. But we need to take care of altitude which goes higher in walking. Our will not only be the people on walking. We will have interaction with local people who will provide us shelter. Continuing our trek in this way our last destination will be Jomsom. From Jomsom we will take early morning mountain flight. We will be so much pleased in the time of flight with spectacular view of Annapurna mountain ranges.
Annapurna Nar Phu Valley Trekking is long & a bit difficult trekking. We need to have good training. The main thing is that we need to have enough holidays. Special kind of permit should be to trek in this wilderness area. Month of March, April, May, September, October, November, and December will have best season to trek. Day 01: Arrival in KathmanduAfter landing flight at TIA, representative of Chomolungma Adventures Pvt. Ltd. will warmly receive you. We will shift you towards your hotel. We will enjoy delicious dinner at night. After dinner is finished we will give brief description of the Annapurna Nar Phu Valley trekking program which is our destination.
Day 02: Kathmandu exploration and preparation for trek.Today is the rest day and preparation day for our whole trek. Beside this we will spend our remaining day by sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley. Firstly we will visit Pashupatinath one of the holiest temple of Lord Shiva, Bauddhanath Little Tibet and to Swayambhunath Monkey Temple. Then from here we will drive to Basantpur Durbar Square at hanuman dhokha. Spending some time we will return hotel and prepare our trek for tomorrow.
Day 03: Kathmandu to Besishahar (830m) – 7 HoursEarly morning after having breakfast, we will take a drive to Besisahar. It takes about 7 to 8 hours. During our drive the spectacular view of the roadside houses with forest will be so much enjoyable. After reaching Besisahar we will visit spectacular places around the valley. Lastly we will return back to our hotel for our night.
Day 04: Besishahar to Bahundanda (1310m) – 5 HoursToday is the first day of our trek. We will walk toward Bahundanda. We can take a short drive to Bhulbhule. We will follow the trial of Marshyangdi River. Many panoramic views so catch all the magic moments of the trekking can be seen during our walk. After walking for about 4 to 5 hours we will reach Bahundanda for our night.
Day 05: Bahundanda to Chamje (1400m) – 5 HoursEarly morning we will continue our journey to Chame. Our main trial goes through Marshyangdi River. We will be so much impressed with Annapurna Himal, Lamjung Himal, and other beautiful ranges of mountain. The traditional and cultural Bhote village in our way will be equally interesting to trek. Finally we will reach at Chame 1960 m for our night.
Day 06: Chamje to Dharapani (1920m) – 5 HoursFrom Chame, we will continue our journey toward Dharapani. In our way we will view glorious mountains sparkling in the rising sun in our way. We need to walk through the rocky trial. Crossing this we will walk steadily uphill to Tal. Track of Marsyangdi River will be our main walking path to reach Dharapani.
Day 07: Dharapani to Koto (2600m) – 6 HoursKoto will be our today’s destination. Walking up & down hill we will reach koto. Forest of oak and pine will be our main walking path. We will be awarded after reaching Koto with fine views of Beautiful mountain ranges. In Koto we can explore Local culture and tradition with interaction of local people.
Day 08: Koto to Dharmasala (3230m) – 7 HoursAfter having breakfast we will continue our walk to Dharmasala. We will be so much attractive with the fantastic view of mountains sparkling in rising sun. We need to walk a bit long distance & face some difficulty. In our track we can have view of Pilgrims & Small caves. We will be at Dharmasala for night.
Day 09: Dharmasala to Kayang (3740m) – 6 HoursEarly morning after having breakfast our journey leads us to Kayang. Fully steep hill to pastures land of Meta Kharka (non-permanent winter settlement of Nar) will be our difficult walking path. Forest of Pine and oak with some wildlife playing can be seen. Continuing without stopping we reach Kayang for night.
Day 10: Kayang to Phu Valley (4050m) – 6 HoursToday our destination is Puh valley. We will walk on the bank of river in our first walk. Following main trial of road we will walk to Puh valley. After some time beautiful forest of rhododendron will be our main walking path. It leads us to the beautiful village of Phu Valley. We can entertain for few moments in Phu valley.
Day 11: Phu Valley to Junam (3550m) – 5 HoursAfter having breakfast we will walk toward Junam. To start our journey first of all we need to cross the end gate of Phu valley. While walking we will pass Junam Khola. We will be pleased with the beauty of nature which surrounds us from all side. Like this we will be at Janum to spend a night.
Day 12: Junam to Nar Village (4150m) – 5 HoursFrom Junam our next destination will be Nar village. Panoramic view of all surrounding area with giant mountain ranges will be so much impressive. It will be full of joy. We will be tired but the locality removes all the tiredness from our mind. Until we reach Nar village we will continue walking.
Day 13: Nar Village to Ngwal (3675m) cross Kang La Pass (5315m) – 6 HoursWe will walk toward Ngwal. We need to walk a long distance so we will start our journey a bit earlier. At first we need to cross Kang La pass. It is quite difficult in crossing but very famous track of Annapurna region. The track may fully cover with snow. Crossing the pass we will reach Ngwal for our night.
Day 14: Ngwal to Manang (3550m) – 7 HoursEarly morning after having breakfast we will walk to beautiful land of Manang. Spectacular view of Tilicho Lake will be so much impressive in our trek. We can also observe beautiful Annapurna region. Many chortens and Mani walls can be seen in the villages of our track to Manang.
Day 15: Manang to Ledar (4250m) towards Thorong La Pass – 6 HoursAfter having breakfast we will walk to Leder. We will walk through the way of Yak Kharka. The local people use this land as the pasture land of the surrounding. We can see many beautiful things around us. It will take about 4 to 5 hours to reach Leder. We will stay our night at tented camp at the altitude of 4200 m.
Day 16: Ledar to Thorong High Camp (4800m) – 5 HoursFrom Leder village, we will hike toward Thorong high camp. We need to walk on the snowy path to reach High Camp. We can see the beautiful valley from the height all around us. It will be so much interesting to spend some time. After that we will set our camp in our places and spend our cool night.
Day 17: Thorong High Camp to Muktinath (3800m)Today is quite important day of our trekking. We will reach at the Muktinath (holy pilgrimages in Nepal). The cool air will blown us which will refresh our mind in our whole walk. Our today’s walk is a bit difficult as we need to walk on storm trial. Our surrounding is fully covered with sand. In this way we will be at Muktinath for our night.
Day 18: Muktinath to Jomsom (2713m) – 5 HoursFrom Muktinath, we will walk toward the Jomsom ending point of our climb. We will be full of joy viewing beautiful glimpse of giant mountain ranges. It will be a easy walk as we need to walk on the flat and downhill trial. On reaching Jomsom we will make confirmation for tomorrow’s flight.
Day 19: Jomsom to PokharaWe will catch the early morning flight over to Pokhara. Magnificent view of mountain ranges with snow cap can be seen from our flight. After reaching Pokhara we will be fresh and spend our some of the extra time in visiting the area of Lakeside. Then we will return back to our place for night.
Day 20: Pokhara to KathmanduEarly morning after having breakfast we will take a drive to Kathmandu. It takes about 6 to 7 hours. During our drive the spectacular view of the roadside houses with forest will be so much enjoyable. After reaching Kathmandu we will visit spectacular places around the valley. Lastly we will return back to our hotel for our night.
Day 21: FarewellAfter having a night rest at Kathmandu, we will pack our luggage to return back to our home land. We need to reach at airport 3 hours before the flight. Chomolungma Adventures Pvt. Ltd. we will attend a small farewell program for you. We hope, while returning back to home country you will think for a re visit to Nepal. We hope for your better journey.
