The Everest region is full of mountains. Fakchermo Peak is one of the most suitable for climbing. It is located in the southern part of Teso Lapcha. This peak is a newly discovered peak. It does not exist on the map. Many pedestrians today are unaware of this. The Ship Tons survey and Gregory’s expedition made the summit famous. The panoramic view of other mountains can be seen from the pass. Most of the area near Fakchermo Peak is covered with snow. The most important thing for a climber to cross Tashi Lapcha (5755 m) is to climb Phakchhermo peak. This peak is becoming popular day by day. Due to which the demand of climbers is increasing.

A short drive to Charikot will be the starting point for our Fakchermo Peak. Rolling Valley is our main walking trail. Before completing the Fakchermo Peak, we have to cross two peaks, namely Teso Rolpa and Tesi Lapcha. Pine green forests with wildlife like monkeys, red pandas, langus, Himalayan black bears are the main attraction of our entire climb. The panoramic views of the surrounding mountains are another attraction of our entire trek. Sometimes bad weather makes it difficult for us to get a good view. We must have extreme will power to see the glorious scene. Fakchermo peak is the most technical and challenging peak for climbing in the Everest region. The physical and mental structure of our body should be good and strong. So we have to do a medical test. We have to get special permission to climb this peak. October, November, December, March, April and May are the best climates for climbing Fakchermo Peak. We Chomolungma Adventures Pvt. The team. Brief Itinerary

Itineraries

Day 01 :

Arrival to Kathmandu.

After landing flight at TIA, representative of Chomolungma Adventures Pvt. Ltd. will warmly receive you. We will shift you towards your hotel. We will enjoy delicious dinner at night. After dinner is finished we will give brief description of the Phakchhermo Peak climbing program which is our destination.

Day 02:

Kathmandu exploration and preparation for trek

Today is the rest day and preparation day for our whole trek. Beside this we will spend our remaining day by sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley. Firstly we will visit Pashupatinath one of the holiest temple of Lord Shiva, Bauddhanath Little Tibet and to Swayambhunath Monkey Temple. Then from here we will drive to Basantpur Durbar Square at hanuman dhokha. Spending some time we will return hotel and prepare our trek for tomorrow.

Day 03:

Kathmandu to Shigati

Early morning after having breakfast, we will take a drive to Shigati. It takes about 5 to 6 hours. During our drive the spectacular view of the roadside houses with forest will be so much enjoyable. After reaching Shigati we will visit spectacular places around the valley. Lastly we will return back to our hotel for our night.

Day 04:

Shigati to Gongar

Today is the first day of our trek. We will walk toward Gongar. We will cross the Suspension bridge of Bhote Koshi River and start our journey. We need to walk through beautiful village forest of pine, juniper and many more species of trees. It will be so much interesting since it is our first day. Finally we will be at Gongarfor our night.

Day 05:

Gongar to Simigaon

After having breakfast we will continue our journey toward Simigaon. Walking for about 2 hours east we will reach the beautiful valley. Terraced fields will be our main walking trial. Some beautiful mani wall and chortens can be seen during our approach to Simigaon. After walking for about 6 hours we will reach simi gaon.

Day 06:

Simigaon to Donga

From Simigaon we will continue our journey toward Donga. Imitating forest of rhododendron will be so much impressive. Walking few hours we will later reach Gyalche. After that we will follow the track of Rolwaling khola. By walking for about 6 to 7 hours we can reach Donga for our night.

Day 07:

Donga to Beding

Early morning we will continue our journey towards the Beding village. This village is inhabitant of 30 houses. Some small monasteries can be seen over here. The highest point of the Rolwaling, Melungtse 7181 m is also passed. After reaching Beding, we can spend visiting places. our night will be cool at tented camp.

Day 08:

Beding to Na

From beautiful Beding village we will forward our trek toward Na. We gradually climb up to the alpine trekking zone to the small village. Because of extreme snow fall before people used to live over here only in summer. Glowrious view of Chobutse (6685m) and Chugimago (6259m) will be so much attractive. The night will be amazing at the tented camp of Na.

Day 09:

Na to Nyiduk Kongma

Today we will climb towards the Nyiduk Kongma. We will also climb on the dam of Tsho Rolpo. It will surely amaze us. Spending some precious time in Tsho Rolpa, we will continue our way towards beautiful region Nyiduk Kongma. Walking around 6 hours we will reach at Nyiduk Kongma for our night.

Day 10:

Nyiduk Kongma to Drolumbau Glacier

After having breakfast we will continue our journey toward Drolumbau glacier. We will walk downward. We will view the stunning view of Rocky Mountains. We need to walk almost in rocky path. After walking for about 5 hours in rocky path we will reach at Drolumbau glacier for our night.

Day 11:

Drolumbau glacier to Tasi Lapsa

Our next destination is toward Tasi Lapsa. We need to walk through the beautiful glaciers of the Drolumbau. It is comparatively tougher path. But the best view of the surrounding with Ragi Tau, Bigphero- Go Shar, Dragkar-Gb and other beautiful peaks can be seen. Continuing our journey toward we will reach Tasi Lapsa for night in tented camp.

Day 12:

Climb to Phakchhermo

Today is the most important day of our whole walk. We will climb up to peak and return back. Our today’s walk goes for 7 to 8 hours to reach our so we need to start a bit earlier. We will continue our journey until we reach at the top of Phakchhermo. After reaching on the top the panoramic view around the region will be so much impressive. For memory we can take some picture in our camera. After spending some time we will return back down way to rest. We will have relaxing night at the land of Himalayas.

Day 13:

Trek to Namche bazaar

After completing our dream project we will trek further down to Namche bazaar. Our returning journey goes easier since we need to trek downward. It will take us about 5 to 6 hours to reach Tenggboche. We will have opportunity of viewing ranges of mountains with the beauty of nature. In this way we will be at Namche bazaar to stay our night.

Day 14:

Namche bazaar to Lukla

From Namche Bazar, we will walk toward the Lukla ending point of our climb. Dudh Koshi River track will be our main walking track. It will lead us into the Sagarmatha national park. Walking slowly by resting many places we will reach to Lukla through the main trail. On reaching lukla we will make confirmation for tomorrow’s flight.

Day 15:

Lukla to Kathmandu

We will catch the early morning flight over to Kathmandu. Magnificent view of mountain ranges with snow cap can be seen from our flight. After reaching Kathmandu we will visit spectacular places around the valley. Lastly we will return back to our hotel for our night and make preparation for tomorrow’s flight.

Day 16:

Farewell

After having a night rest at Kathmandu, we will pack our luggage to return back to our home land. We need to reach at airport 3 hours before the flight. Chomolungma Adventures Pvt.
