Trip Information

Mount Everest is the highest mountain in the world, so it was first appeared during a
mountain survey in a telescope. This trek will take us only to the base camp of Mt.
Everest. Aa it is the highest mountain of the world it will be the most challenging than
others base camp .
Our real trekking starts after a mountain flight over to Lukla.it will be such a wonderful
view of mountain seeing from the plain . Our trekking is to go near them. We need to
camp near to places like Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Dingboche etc. for our night. Our
walk will be on the home land of Sherpa people. Maximum of them are famous for the
skills of mountaineers & guides. Stupa, Gompas (monasteries), chortens (stone
Buddhist monuments), main walls (built of stones carved with Buddhist prayers) can be
explored in our trek.
As it is the most challenging and difficult base camp one should be healthy and mental
health should be good and have to have enough holidays. The Months of March, April,
September, October, November and December will have the best season to go trekking
in this region. We the team of Chomolungma Adventures Pvt. Ltd. will arrange
Everest Base Camp Trekking with professional guides. Trekking days are made
according to the choice of trekkers. On any day it can be made. Any program with the
team of Chomolungma Adventures Pvt. Ltd. will be full of fun.


Short Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu. (1300m)
Day 02: Free and arrangement day.
Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2800m) then trek to Phakding
Day 04: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3441m)
Day 05: Rest Day in Namche Bazaar.

Day 06: Trek from Namche to Tengboche (3860m),5 Hours
Day 07: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4360m),4 Hours
Day 08: Acclimatization day in Dingboche and hike upto Chukung
valley(4710m),4-5 Hours
Day 09: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4910m),5 Hours
Day 10: Trek from Lobuche to Gorakshep (5160m). Trek to Everest
Base Camp (5,365 m) and Down to Gorakshep. 7-8 Hours.
Day 11: Early in the morning Trek from Gorak Shep to Kalapathar
(5545m) and thenTrek down to Pheriche (4210m),Around 7 Hours
Day 12: Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar,6 Hours
Day 13: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla.6 Hours
Day 14: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu.30 Minute

Brief Itinerary


Day 01:

Arrival to Kathmandu

After landing the flight at TIA, representatives of Chomolungma Adventures Pvt. Ltd. will warmly receive you. We will shift you towards your hotel. We will enjoy a delicious dinner at night. After dinner is finished we will give a brief description of the Everest Base Camp Trekking program which is our destination.

Day 02:

Kathmandu exploration and preparation for trek.

Today is the rest day and preparation day for our whole trek. Beside this we will spend our remaining day by sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley. Firstly we will visit Pashupatinath one of the holiest temple of Lord Shiva, Boudhanath Little Tibet and to Swayambhunath Monkey Temple. Then from here we will drive to Basantapur Durbar Square at hanuman dhoka. Spending some time we will return to the hotel and prepare our trek for tomorrow.

Day 03:

Fly to Lukla 2800m and trek to Phakding 2610m.

We will take an early morning mountain flight toward Lukla. Magnificent view of mountain ranges with a snow cap can be seen from our flight. On reaching Lukla we will take our luggage and start our walking trek. We will trek toward Phakding. By following the main trial it will take us about 3 to 4 hours to reach Phakding.

Day 04

Phakding to Namche Bazaar 3440m.

Early morning after having breakfast we trek toward Namche Bazaar. Our today’s walk goes for about 5 to 6 hours. The Dudh Koshi River will be our walking track. In this way we will enter the part of Sagarmatha national park. Without stopping our journey we will be at Namche bazaar for our night.

Day 05 :

Rest at Namche Bazaar

Today is our rest taking day at Namche Bazaar. We will accumulate yourself with the climatic condition of this area by visiting several places around the beautiful places over Namche bazaar. In this way we can have knowledge of tradition and culture of local people living in Namche Bazaar. After finishing exploring we will come back to our place for our night.

Day 06:

Namche to Tengboche (3860m) – 5 Hours

Accumulating our self at Namche Bazaar we will continue our journey toward Tengboche 3800m. During our walk we will be so much impressed with the magnificent view of beautiful mountain ranges. On reaching Tengboche we will explore around the places and lastly we will return back for our night.

Day 07:

Tengboche to Dingboche (4360m) – 4 Hours

From Tengboche our next destination is Dingboche. We will walk through the main trial. The beauty of nature with mountain ranges will be so impressive and memorable for our lifetime. Unknowingly the beautiful track leads us to Dingboche where we will rest and spend our cool night.

Day 08:

Hike to Chhukung Valley (4710m) & back to Dingboche – 4 Hours

One more day we will spend by accumulating at Dingboche. At first we will make a short hike to Chhukung from Imja Khola valley. Spending some precious time we will return back. We will then explore around Dingboche and return back to our hotel to spend our memorable rest day night.

Day 09:

Dingboche to Lobuche (4910m) – 5 Hours

Early morning after having breakfast we will continue our journey toward Lobuche. It will take us about 6 to 7 hours. It will be a bit tough to walk uphill. Without worry we will walk slowly and we will finally reach Lobuche. In lobuche we will explore around the places and return back to spend our night.

Day 10:

Lobuche to Everest Base Camp (5365m) and back to Gorak Shep – 8 Hours

The most important day, completing our dream project has come on. Today is going to be a bit of a difficult trek. We need to walk through Khumbu Glacier to Everest base Camp. From EBC we can view the closest view of Mount Everest. For memory we can take a capture picture. Lastly we will trek down to Gorakshep for our night.

Day 11:

Hike up to Kalapatthar (5545m) and trek down to Pheriche (4200m) – 7 Hours

We will just have a short hike up to Kalapattar then we will further trek down to Pheriche. After spending our time we will return back to our place. Our whole day is spent by visiting places in the highlands. After visiting all the places we will walk toward Pheriche for our night.

Day 12:

Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (3441m) – 6 Hours

Our Today’s walk will be the easiest walk. We just need to trek downward to reach Namche Bazaar. We will follow our main trial. Beauty of nature with mountain ranges will be so impressive. While returning it may be our view of the surrounding in this trek. Like this we will reach namche bazaar for our night.

Day 13:

Namche to Lukla (2804m) – 6 Hours

From Namche Bazar, we will walk toward the Lukla ending point of our climb. Dudh Koshi River track will be our main walking track. It will lead us into the Sagarmatha national park. Walking slowly by resting in many places we will reach Lukla through the main trail. On reaching lukla we will make confirmation for tomorrow’s flight.

Day 14:

Lukla to Kathmandu

We will catch the early morning flight over to Kathmandu. Magnificent view of mountain ranges with a snow cap can be seen from our flight. After reaching Kathmandu we will visit spectacular places around the valley. Lastly we will return back to our hotel for our night and make preparation for tomorrow’s flight.

Day 15:


After having a night rest at Kathmandu, we will pack our luggage to return back to our home land. We need to reach the airport 3 hours before the flight. Chomolungma Adventures Pvt. Ltd. we will attend a small farewell program for you. We hope, while returning back to your home country you will think for a re visit to Nepal. We hope for your better journey.
